He closed the Tomorrowland Mainstage alone — and dedicated the set to the brother who was not there
Dimitri Vegas has posted the full recording. Like Mike stepped away from touring for his health, so on 18 July the Mainstage got one of them — and midway through, Real Madrid’s goalkeeper turned up in the DJ booth.

The Belgian closed the Mainstage on Saturday 18 July and went out there alone: Like Mike, his brother and long-time partner, has temporarily stepped away from touring to focus on his health.
“As you guys might have noticed, it’s just me by myself here tonight. It breaks my brother’s heart that he can’t be here with us… Let’s show some love to my brother Like Mike. Let’s show him that we can’t wait for him to be back on stage with us,” Vegas told the crowd.
The set brought together festival staples, new material and tracks from across his career. And there was a moment nobody saw coming: Thibaut Courtois, goalkeeper for Real Madrid and Belgium, climbed into the DJ booth.
His Tomorrowland did not end there. Across the festival’s two weekends he played several more times, including b2b sets with Timmy Trumpet and Nico Moreno, plus a surprise appearance alongside Marlon Hoffstadt.
The recording joins an archive that has been growing almost daily since this year’s festival: full sets are already online from Martin Garrix, Hardwell, Charlotte de Witte, Sara Landry and many others.
Closing the Mainstage on a Saturday is the hardest slot of the two weekends: nothing follows it, the festival simply ends, and the set has to hold a hundred thousand people to the final bar. This time it had to be held by half the line-up originally planned.
