HUGEL and Kurd Maverick made a track whose title is the instruction — ‘Put Your Hands Up’
The Frenchman teamed up with the German producer on Cr2 Records. It is his fourth release of the season and the most direct of them.
HUGEL has released a joint track with German producer Kurd Maverick — ‘PYHU (Put Your Hands Up)’.
The outlet Essential House reported it.
The release came out on the British label Cr2 Records, one of those imprints that has kept a dance catalogue going since the nineties and still pushes new club material.
The title hides nothing: PYHU stands for ‘Put Your Hands Up’, meaning the track is built for exactly the moment a DJ lifts the room.
In genre terms it is Afro house again — the territory the Frenchman has worked consistently for several years and the one that made him recognisable.
For HUGEL this is already the fourth release of the 2025 season, and the most direct of them: no guest vocalists, no Latin ornament, just rhythm and function.
