Satin Jackets drops “Say So” — and you still won't get to see its creator's face
A third single in two months, and a third new voice by his side. This time the German producer called on a singer he had already recorded two songs with for last year's album.

Satin Jackets has released the single Say So with vocalist Thunder. The track came out on 16 October on Golden Hour Recordings, and the video landed on YouTube a day earlier.
The release was announced on the Satin Jackets YouTube channel.
It is the third song Satin Jackets and Thunder have made together, after On My Own and So High, both of which appeared on last year's album Cruise Control. The video was made by the studio Pilota Creative.
Who is behind the mask
Behind Satin Jackets is Tim Bernhardt, a German producer from Berlin. He founded the project in 2012 to make disco, having spent many years before that playing house under other aliases. He never shows his face in official photos, appearing instead in a faceted gold mask, a cap and round glasses.
His best-known early track is You Make Me Feel Good from 2013. It was followed by the albums Panorama Pacifico (2016), Solar Nights (2019) and Cruise Control (2025).
Three singles, three voices
It has been a busy autumn for Satin Jackets. Come Back with Flashbaxx came out on 21 August, followed on 25 September by Satellite Eyes with Scavenger Hunt — their first song together in the ten years since the EP Feel Good — and now Say So. Each time with a new vocalist. Before that, over the course of a year, Golden Hour had already put out his Tell Me Lies with Panama, the EP Extra Mile, In The Center with Elmar and Static with Nazzereene.
Satin Jackets is one of the artists we play most often: his Closer To Me, also with Nazzereene, has aired on our station more than a hundred times, and Feel Good with Scavenger Hunt is still on our air. The disco scene is not standing still this autumn either: Naples' Nu Genea have just wrapped up a big tour. So Bernhardt's mask stays on, while the songs keep coming.
