Nine months ago he posted exactly two minutes from that night: now Four Tet has released all four and a half hours

Four Tet has posted the recording of his concert at London’s Alexandra Palace, held on 22 November 2025. In full, unedited and with no ticket required: four hours, twenty-four minutes and twenty-two seconds.

The video appeared on the musician’s own channel at the end of August.

The funnier part is something else. Last December the same channel put out a clip titled “but it’s only two minutes” — exactly two minutes from that very night. For nine months the joke sat there with no follow-up, and the August upload finally delivered the rest.

Nine tracks that exist nowhere else

Alongside the video, the set also came out as a separate streaming release — “Four Tet at Alexandra Palace, London, Nov 22, 2025”. It runs to fifty-seven entries, and nine of them carry neither a title nor an artist: in the tracklist they appear as ID1, ID2 and so on up to ID9. These are unreleased pieces that do not exist outside that night.

The remaining forty-eight show how wide he casts his net. A single set finds room for Ricardo Villalobos and PinkPantheress, Burial and Ellie Goulding, Eric Prydz and Floating Points, Jai Paul and CHVRCHES, Skrillex, Dubfire with Oliver Huntemann, Martyn, Mala, the drum and bass classic from M-Beat and General Levy — and Hebden’s own tech house alias KH.

This was not filmed on a phone. The credits under the video list twelve names, and half of them make up a separate documentary unit: director Joanna Nordahl, cinematographer Ruben Neviazsky, second camera, editor, colourist, post-production producer. Lighting was handled by Ed Warren, sound by Parker, staging by Matt Barker.

A free full set is nothing new for this channel in itself: Finsbury Park 2024, at three hours forty-nine minutes, has been sitting there for years, along with Lost Village, EDC Las Vegas, Lollapalooza and even a two-hour mix of test vinyl pressings. The news is the length: no other recording on the channel reaches four hours.

The year he opened his own archive

The recording is not a one-off gesture but part of what Kieran Hebden has been doing all through 2026. Over the past few months he has put his entire album discography on the channel as full-length videos: Pink, Dialogue, Beautiful Rewind, Morning / Evening, New Energy, Sixteen Oceans, Parallel, Three and There Is Love in You.

New material arrived over the summer too — an album whose title cannot be read: it is set in glyphs of the Wingdings typeface. Eight tracks, around thirty-seven minutes, a June vinyl run of two thousand copies that sold out fast, and the digital release in July — all through his own label Text Records.

There is no word from Hebden himself: no post explaining it, no quote in the press. The video description carries only the credits — and four and a half hours that speak for themselves.
