MONATIK, Karol, Pivovarov and Mohylevska open Holos Krainy with each other's hits
The show returns after a three-year break, with a new coach and a number in which each coach sang a colleague's song — plus a performance that turned all four chairs.
The coaches of Holos Krainy season 14
Holos Krainy, the Ukrainian version of The Voice, is back on 1+1 Ukraina after a three-year break: the first episode of its 14th season aired on 25 October. It opened with the coaches — MONATIK, Tina Karol, Artem Pivovarov and Natalia Mohylevska — performing a number in which each of them sang someone else's hit.
The coaches' number has been published on the Holos Krainy YouTube channel, and the team line-ups after the first episode on the 1+1 website.
MONATIK performed Mohylevska's Vidirvatys vid zemli (“Lift Off the Ground”), Mohylevska sang Pivovarov's Dezhaviu (“Déjà Vu”), Pivovarov gave Tina Karol's Nizhno (“Tenderly”) a rock sound, and Karol took on two MONATIK songs, Tomu shcho… (“Because…”) and A shcho? (“So What?”). At the end, all four sang Holos tvoiei krainy (“The Voice of Your Country”) together.
Four chairs for “Vymolyv”
The first episode saw three four-chair turns. One of them came for Mariam Kazarian's performance of Vymolyv (“Prayed For”). The song, set to a poem by Yurii Izdryk, was released in March 2025 by Jerry Heil, MONATIK and Yevhen Khmara. Kazarian chose Team MONATIK, and he suggested they sing it together.
Anatolii Riabinin, who sang Sunday Morning, went with Pivovarov, while Serhii Tiahnyriadno, who performed Nessun dorma, joined Tina Karol. After the first episode, Karol has four contestants on her team, and each of the other coaches has two.
Who's in the chairs
This is Tina Karol's ninth season on the adult version of Holos Krainy, MONATIK's fourth and Pivovarov's second: in season 13, his contestant Mykhailo Panchyshyn won. Natalia Mohylevska has joined the coaching panel this season. The show is hosted by Yurii Horbunov and Kateryna Osadcha.
The season's partner is the Pivnyk foundation, which helps service members who have lost their hearing because of their wounds. New episodes air on 1+1 Ukraina every Sunday.
At the end of September, Jerry Heil recorded “Dvi vesny” (“Two Springs”) with Sviatoslav Vakarchuk.
