KADNAY releases “Ya khochu tvoho tepla”, first song after seven months of silence
The band announced the song, about a distance no shout can cross, only three days before its release. Dmytro Kadnay produced it together with Yaroslav Tatarchenko.

KADNAY released the single Ya khochu tvoho tepla (“I Want Your Warmth”) on October 16. It is the band's first release since March's Khei, zupynys (“Hey, Stop”).
The song is out on streaming platforms, and the band announced it on Instagram.
The band itself sums up the song in a single line: it is “a memory of closeness, when a shout doesn't reach, because the person is close yet at too great a distance.” The premiere was announced only three days in advance: on October 13, KADNAY promised on Instagram “a premiere that will warm you.”
A seven-month break
The previous single, Khei, zupynys, came out on March 20, with its video following on April 1. The band's latest album, the eleven-track Kvitamy na hlybyni (“Flowers in the Deep”), was released in April 2025. The new single was released on Best Music, distributed by The Orchard.
The new song arrived without a video, but with a photo shoot the band posted on Instagram: deliberately blurred shots, as if in motion, in which the figure almost dissolves into the light. The single's artwork turned out the same way — a blurred silhouette in blue. In its first six days, the audio on YouTube gathered about 34,000 views.
Who KADNAY are
The band was formed in 2012, and its lineup has never changed: Dmytro Kadnay and Filip Koliadenko. In 2018, KADNAY competed in Ukraine's national selection for Eurovision with the song Beat of the Universe.
KADNAY is a frequent Ukrainian guest on our air: in the past month alone, the band's songs played on our station almost fifty times. Now one more joins them — warm, just as promised.
In the summer, we wrote about the KADNAY concert at Odesa's Arkadia.
