She opened Tomorrowland's Freedom stage. Now she brings her own show to Kyiv
More than 300 m² of screens, 500 lighting fixtures, live vocals and music no one has heard yet. Ukraine's melodic techno star is staging her party brand at home for the first time.
KOROLOVA
KOROLOVA together with the promo group S.V.E.T will present Captive Soul Ukraine in Kyiv — the first Ukrainian presentation of her party brand. The show takes place on Saturday, 3 October, at the International Exhibition Centre.
The organisers announced the event on the show's official website.
The most interesting part is where this format came from. In late July KOROLOVA opened the Freedom stage at Tomorrowland in Belgium and herself billed that ninety-minute set as “Captive Soul at Tomorrowland”. Now the concept she showed there is being rolled out at home — on a far bigger scale.
What to expect
The organisers promise a single dramatic arc that brings together DJ sets, live vocals, video content and choreography: a screen structure of more than 300 square metres, more than 500 lighting fixtures and staged numbers featuring Ukrainian dancers. The show runs from 3 pm until around 10 pm; entry is 18+.
Alongside the headliner are two Britons — singer-songwriter Be No Rain and multi-instrumentalist and producer Ross Quinn — plus the S.V.E.T residents: KOSTYN, CHERRY and R.A.N in a b3b format, the trio of KRISMI, MIARA and MILA ALIAS, and ARTARIA, with special guests still to be announced.
“We are creating a whole world that the audience steps into for a few hours. It brings together music, incredible visuals, dance, live voices and unexpected collaborations. And, of course, for the first time I will play music that no one has heard before. For me this is a very special show,” KOROLOVA said in the organisers' press release.
At Tomorrowland on 26 July she played the opening slot on the Freedom stage — and that is where her collaboration with Jerry Heil, who joined her on stage, was heard for the first time. So the Kyiv show is not a repeat but an expansion: what fitted into a single set at the festival will here be stretched across a whole evening with its own stage design.
Tickets are on sale on the show's website and via Concert.ua; prices start at UAH 1,700, and there are VIP tables with access to premium areas and backstage.
Who is KOROLOVA
KOROLOVA is Olga Korolova from Chernihiv, a DJ and producer working on the line between melodic techno and progressive house. She founded the Captive Soul label, party series and radio show, and in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2025 poll she climbed ten places to 50th position.
According to her profile in the DJ Mag 2025 poll, Captive Soul parties sold out everywhere that season — from Athens to Ibiza. Kyiv will be the first city where the brand is shown at home, and not as a club night but as a full-scale show.
Earlier we reported on how Miss Monique brought Robbie Williams to the Tomorrowland Mainstage — another Ukrainian melodic techno name at the continent's flagship festival.
