A duo that has long played together

Eris Drew and Octo Octa met in 2017 and in 2019 founded their own party series and label, T4T LUV NRG. Since then they have played mostly together — the b2b format is not a one-off collaboration for them but a working mode.

Before the joint album each released solo work: Eris Drew a mix in the DJ-Kicks series in 2025, Octo Octa the album Sigils for Survival this year.

Why it matters beyond their audience

Interdimensional Transmissions is a label with Detroit roots, and it is there that the pair make the listening rather than the dancing side of their sound. For a scene increasingly built on singles cut for streaming, a double album recorded in a forest is a deliberately opposite gesture.

As reported earlier by ONE//FM, the record market is getting very different novelties alongside releases like this — Suno has started pressing vinyl with machine-generated music.
