David Guetta will ring in 2027 in Miami as the headliner of New Year’s Eve at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach resort. The party, for guests aged 21 and over, takes place on Thursday, December 31, in the Sparkle Theatre from 9 pm to 2 am, with a live countdown to midnight.
The event was announced on the Fontainebleau website.
According to Peter McMahon, executive vice president and managing director of Fontainebleau Miami Beach, moving the show to the Sparkle Theatre will create an “immersive, one-of-a-kind experience for our guests.” Guetta also saw in last New Year at the Fontainebleau, but that time outdoors, by the resort’s pool.
A countdown for the kids too
Meanwhile, the resort will host an all-ages family celebration at the Coastal Convention Center, with a buffet dinner, a rooftop silent disco from 10 pm to 1 am and a dedicated kids’ zone. At midnight, guests there will watch Guetta’s countdown on a live feed from the Sparkle Theatre. Tickets cost $375 for ages 11 and up and $200 for children aged 5–10, while children aged four and under get in free.
Before the party, guests can have dinner at the resort’s restaurants: the steakhouse Prime 54, the Cantonese restaurant Hakkasan, recognized by the Michelin Guide, or the buffet at Vida. Over the years, the Fontainebleau’s BleauLive concert series has featured Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Calvin Harris and The Weeknd.
A record-breaking year
New Year’s Eve will cap a record-breaking year for Guetta. In October he topped the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs ranking for the sixth time, something no one else has ever managed. This year he also drew more than 240,000 people to three concerts at the Stade de France in Paris and took his Monolith show to Red Rocks and Coachella, and in summer 2027 he will bring it to London’s O2.
Guetta is on our air as well: over the past month, his Beautiful People with Sia, in the Miss Monique mix, has played eight times.
Also playing at the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs ceremony was Ukraine’s KOROLOVA, who climbed to 36th place this year.
