Thirty-two stars on Hollywood Boulevard: David Guetta and Sia have joined the Class of 2027
In the Recording category they stand beside Lil Wayne, Karol G, Linkin Park and the Ramones.
David Guetta has been named in the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2027. Sia takes a star in the same Recording category — both names our listeners know well.

Who else is in the Class of 2027
The class was announced by actress Ming-Na Wen and singer and percussionist Sheila E. at a ceremony livestreamed from Funko Hollywood on Thursday 23 July. Alongside Guetta and Sia, the Recording category includes Lil Wayne, Karol G, The Smashing Pumpkins, Linkin Park, the Ramones and Grandmaster Flash. Outlaw country musician Waylon Jennings receives a posthumous star.
In total, 32 new stars will be added to Hollywood Boulevard in 2027 across six categories: music, television, film, theatre, radio and sports entertainment.
For Guetta the star lands in a year when he is already at the top: in the autumn of 2025 DJ Mag named him the world’s number one DJ in its annual poll.
“The Walk of Fame Selection Committee is proud to welcome the Class of 2027 to one of the most enduring symbols of achievement in entertainment. These 32 extraordinary individuals have each made a lasting impact on audiences around the world through their talent, creativity, and dedication to their craft,” said selection chairman Peter Roth.
Dates for the individual dedication ceremonies have not been scheduled. Under the rules, recipients have two years from selection to arrange their ceremony before the honour expires.
As ONE//FM reported earlier, Guetta once walked into the booth of Ukrainian artist Miss Monique in the middle of her set at Hï Ibiza — she remembers it as one of the brightest moments of her season.
