Tiësto revives In Concert after 23 years and Boris Brejcha is leaving the stage: both will play a stadium in Warsaw
Warsaw Music Festival 2027 returns to the Legia stadium: Boris Brejcha plays on 11 June, and the first Tiësto in Concert in 23 years follows on 19 June. Tickets go on sale on 12 November.
Tiësto
Warsaw Music Festival 2027 has named two headliners: Tiësto and Boris Brejcha will play the Legia stadium in Warsaw. For Tiësto it is the first show in the In Concert format in 23 years, and for Brejcha it is his only performance in Poland in 2027, ahead of the end of his career.
The organisers announced it on the festival website.
Brejcha opens the festival on Friday, 11 June, and Tiësto takes the stage on Saturday, 19 June, at 19:00. Tickets go on sale on 12 November, according to muno.pl at 19:00 on Biletomat. That is 20:00 in Kyiv.
A format not seen for 23 years
The format was born on 10 May 2003, when Tiësto became the first DJ to hold a solo concert in a stadium: 25,000 people heard him at the GelreDome in Arnhem. He repeated the show the following year. Now, according to the organisers, Tiësto in Concert is returning to world stages after 23 years, with the first show in Warsaw.
In October Boris Brejcha announced that at the end of 2028 he will close the chapter of Boris Brejcha and the Joker. “My dad always used to say that you should stop when things are at their best,” he said in a video message. He assured fans that he is not sick and has not lost his passion for music.
54,000 attendees and more names to come
For Poland this is big news, and not only because of the names. According to muno.pl, Brejcha’s Polish fans are among the most numerous in the world, and all his shows in the country sell out immediately. Last year’s Warsaw Music Festival drew 54,000 attendees over three days.
The organisers promise this is only the start of the line-up, with more names to follow. On our air Tiësto has been played 15 times in the last 30 days: I Will Be Here with Sneaky Sound System in the Wolfgang Gartner mix. And on 6 November, according to the artist’s website, Boris Brejcha releases a new track, Cello Tears.
Another major Polish festival, Open'er, opened ticket sales for 2027 back in August.
