LATEXFAUNA turned their summer tour into drone detectors for the Artan special unit

LATEXFAUNA have reported on the results of their summer tour of Ukraine: together with the Diana Podolianchuk Foundation, the band bought drone detectors and are handing them over to the Artan special unit of Ukraine's Defence Intelligence (HUR). According to the musicians, the equipment will help the defenders carry out combat missions more effectively.
The band announced this on their Telegram channel.
LATEXFAUNA also report separately on their appearance at the Halas na Hanku festival in Kraków: donations from there paid for charging stations for Artan. “Every ticket of yours, every donation and every meeting with us this summer became part of something much bigger,” the band wrote. The post does not name any sums or the amount of equipment.
And money from Europe too
This is not the band's only such fundraiser this autumn. On 20 October LATEXFAUNA wrote that all the money raised at concerts and charity auctions on their European tour is also going towards Artan's needs. The text of the post gives no sums.
“We thank Ukraine's Defence Forces for the opportunity to play music and meet you,” the musicians added at the time. This time they thanked the concert organisers, partners and the listeners who came to the shows and donated.
Next up: AstroPunk
Meanwhile, the band are preparing a new album, AstroPunk. Its first track, KAZHAN, came out on 30 September, and within a month the video had drawn more than 200,000 views. No release date for the album has been announced yet.
LATEXFAUNA are on our air too: over the past month Bounty, in the Solex UA and Gooch Brown mix, has played 23 times.
This August the Atlas festival raised 103 million hryvnias to protect the skies.
