After the Ukrainian summer, six European cities: MONATIK announces a tour ending at London's Indigo
Fourteen dates have appeared on the artist's official site: eight in Ukraine before the end of September and six in Europe in February 2027 — Berlin, Prague, Frankfurt, Cologne, Antwerp and London.
MONATIK is going beyond Ukraine: in February 2027 the artist plays six concerts in Europe and closes the run at London's Indigo at The O2.
The dates are published on the artist's official site.
Before that comes a dense Ukrainian stretch — eight concerts before the end of September, from Lviv to Dnipro.
A Ukrainian summer that is not over yet
On 27 August MONATIK plays Lviv at !FESTrepublic, and the following evening Odesa at the Ibiza Beach Club. September is almost fully booked: Rivne, Kyiv, Kosyno, Chernivtsi, Uzhhorod and Dnipro.
The European leg starts on 14 February at Berlin's Huxleys Neue Welt and runs through Prague, Frankfurt, Cologne and Antwerp. The finale is on 26 February at Indigo at The O2 — the smaller hall inside the London complex, and for a Ukrainian pop artist such a date means stepping onto a venue usually seen only on world-tour posters.
Why this is more than touring
European dates by Ukrainian artists long ago stopped being shows "for our own" in cultural centres. A hall of two and a half thousand seats in London is sold on the open market — which means the ticket buyer is not only the Ukrainian diaspora. This is what that easily-spoken phrase "cultural diplomacy" actually looks like when someone does it.
As reported earlier by ONE//FM, Independence sounds in four cities at once this week — from the Dovzhenko Film Studio to Berlin's Jägerstraße.
