Nora En Pure releases “Burning Up” with Orem, whose voice Lane 8 and ZHU fans already know

Nora En Pure has released the single Burning Up with singer Orem. The track came out on September 25 on Enormous Tunes, the Zurich label that has been her main home since the very start of her career.

The artist posted the track on her official channel.

According to the release notes, “Burning Up” strikes a delicate balance between classical influences and melodic house. At its center are Orem’s vocals, subtle instrumental lines and a light, easygoing groove.

Who is Orem

Orem has been releasing solo music since 2023, and in that time her catalog has racked up more than 300 million streams, while her monthly audience on Spotify has passed half a million listeners. Her voice has already been heard on tracks by ATB, Lane 8, ZHU, Boris Brejcha, Le Youth, Nu Aspect and IMANU.

For Nora En Pure, it is her first original track since Don’t Wake Up with Richard Walters. In between, she also delivered an official remix of Faded by HAYLA and Nelly Furtado.

Meanwhile, the artist is on tour. After shows in the US, New Zealand and Australia — including Change We Need in Sydney on September 18 — she is playing Europe, Canada and the US in October.

Who is Nora En Pure

Nora En Pure is Daniela Di Lillo, a Swiss producer and DJ. Born in 1990 in Johannesburg, she moved to Switzerland as a child and lives in Zurich. Piano and drums came first, electronic music only later — hence the classical motifs in her house. Her breakthrough came in 2013 with Come With Me.

Every week she hosts the Purified Radio show, and its 527th episode came out at the end of September. She has played a BBC Essential Mix, Coachella and Tomorrowland, and this season she was on the lineup of Miss Monique’s residency at Hï Ibiza.

“Burning Up” takes her back to the sound that first made her name — organic, emotional, unhurried. After remixes and guest spots, this is once again a track where Nora En Pure speaks in her own voice.
