An R&B voice inside Latin house: HUGEL has released ‘Temptation’ with Bryson Tiller

The track opens a special edition of his debut album ‘Twenty One’.

HUGEL has released the single ‘Temptation’ together with American R&B artist Bryson Tiller.

The outlet Beatportal wrote about it.

The track pairs the Frenchman’s signature Latin house production with Tiller’s smooth vocals: warm piano melodies, an infectious groove and an effortless summer energy pulled into a polished crossover anthem.

The release came out on Make The Girls Dance Records.

It is not merely another single: ‘Temptation’ is the lead track of the special edition of HUGEL’s debut album ‘Twenty One’, which has already topped charts.

The album title is a count: exactly that many years have passed since he made his first vinyl mix in his own bedroom in Marseille. He explained what is inside the record at its Las Vegas launch.

“It’s basically all the parts of my personality, like you’ll have some songs that you’ll hear at the beach club, in a restaurant in the south of France where I’m from, but also some tracks that you can listen to 6 a.m. at Space Miami, or some party track that you listen tonight at Wynn at 2 a.m.”

What kind of album this is

‘Twenty One’ is the Frenchman’s debut album, which entered at number one on Spotify’s Top Albums chart. Its guest list includes David Guetta, French Montana, Big Sean, Snoop Dogg and Tokischa. HUGEL himself gathered more than a billion streams in 2025 alone and holds over 33 million monthly Spotify listeners.

The label reduced the release description to a single formula.

“HUGEL’s signature Latin House production with Tiller’s smooth vocals: warm piano melodies, infectious grooves, and effortless summer energy,” the description reads.

For Tiller this is no ordinary year either: a decade ago his ‘T R A P S O U L’ rewrote the rules of modern R&B with ‘Don’t’ and ‘Exchange’, and the Louisville artist has been steadily widening his catalogue ever since.

Bryson Tiller himself is a Grammy nominee and a multi-platinum artist for whom dance music is not a home genre; here he works at somebody else’s tempo, and the track lives off exactly that contrast.

We reported earlier that HUGEL and Ultra Naté rewrote her classic ‘Free’ for 2025.
