Stadiums that rarely let electronic acts in: RÜFÜS DU SOL have announced 24 North American dates
Last year the trio sold more than 750,000 tickets.
RÜFÜS DU SOL have announced their return to North America — a summer tour that takes the Australian trio to some of the most iconic venues in the region.

Where the tour goes
The run expands their already record-breaking Inhale / Exhale Tour to 24 dates. Chief among them is a long-awaited return to New York City with a headline show at Madison Square Garden, following last year’s stop at Sports Illustrated Stadium.
In Chicago the trio headlines Wrigley Field, after topping the bill at Lollapalooza. They play two consecutive nights at The Gorge in Washington State and perform directly on the beach in Atlantic City.
Other venues include the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, Folsom Field in Boulder, Fenway Park in Boston and Petco Park in San Diego — some of the largest shows of their career. At Bonnaroo they headline the Saturday night.
These are stadiums and open-air venues rarely headlined by electronic acts, and that is precisely the point of the announcement.
What the band says about it
Singer Tyrone Lindqvist described who they want to be on stage in an interview with Billboard.
“We’re testing ourselves and seeing how we can exist as a band that treads the line between a live rock act and an act that lives in a dance music space,” he said.
“Our touring looks really different to what it looked like before… We’d do three-month tours because it made financial sense and we’d run ourselves into the ground a bit. Whereas now we separate them into three- or four-week periods. My voice isn’t destroyed halfway through the tour — it’s good.”
It follows a landmark year: the band earned a GRAMMY nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album and closed out the 2025 leg of their Inhale / Exhale World Tour. Across nearly 50 dates worldwide they sold over 750,000 headline tickets and performed to more than 1.5 million people at festivals and solo shows.
